Saturday 10 June – Alport: A morning guided amble led by Tony Wood around the lead mining (surface) remains that can still be seen around that beautiful village of Alport. Names on the visit sheet at the next meeting please. Donation/collection on the day for Tony’s charity min £5.
Wednesday 20 September – Belper. A morning amble with Peter Dunkersley to see some of the Strutt memorabilia in Belper – inc Long Row and the other early mill workers’ housing, chapel , and the River Gardens. Names on the visit sheet at the next meeting please. Donation/collection on the day for Belper North Mill Trust, suggest £5.
